Yoga for Pregnancy
Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training Course
Pregnancy is a profound and transformative chapter in a woman’s life, marked by significant physical, emotional, and psychological changes. As the body nurtures new life, it undergoes various adaptations to support the developing baby
Yoga for Pregnant Woman
A common concern among expecting mothers is, “Is it safe to practice yoga during pregnancy?” This question often leads to hesitation and uncertainty. However, prenatal yoga is much more than just physical postures. It includes breathwork, meditation, and chanting — all of which promote deep relaxation, emotional balance, and mental clarity, helping mothers prepare for the beautiful journey of motherhood.

Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal yoga refers to the practice of yoga during pregnancy—a beautiful and transformative time in a woman’s life. Although this phase is filled with joy and excitement, it also comes with physical and emotional challenges. Prenatal yoga offers the support needed to navigate these changes with strength, grace, and balance.
According to ancient Hindu scriptures and the Vedas, a child begins to learn and absorb their surroundings from within the womb. This makes it essential for the mother to remain in a calm, positive, and nurturing environment. Good physical and mental health during pregnancy not only benefits the mother but also positively influences the growing baby.
At Vinyasa Yoga Ashram, we offer a 7-Day Prenatal Yoga Course designed to support expecting mothers through yoga, breathwork, and mindful movement.
